I don’t know that Bianco would be one of my top guys, but I could still get behind him.
As fans we only tend to look at the win loss record and post season success, but you have to look at the entire picture. I remember a thread from earlier this season talking about how well Ole Miss has developed pitchers and field players vs how a lot of guys here just appear to be stagnant.
Take recruiting classes, over the past 5 seasons Ole Miss has on average brought in the 22nd ranked recruiting class in the country. If you take away their 2nd ranked class in 2019 that number becomes 28th. LSU has been 6th in that time span, with 3/5 being in the top 5 in the country.
Ole Miss has done a really good job taking lesser talented players, and developing them into really good college players to the point that their program is arguably (maybe undoubtedly) in a better position then we are currently.

Baseball recruiting classes are more inaccurate than all others
Also look at the 5 years before that. He had better classes than PM most of the time with less success

This is a very good analysis. I think we could do worse, but he wouldn't be in my initial top 3, maybe top 5. If everyone else turns us down, Bianco would be ok.
But you make everyone else turn you down, and I don't think we get past our initial list (McDonnell, Godwin, O'Sullivan) with that happening. Not with SW leading the way.
