FDA says stay under 2300mg of sodium daily but average American gets over 3000mg.
American heart association recommends 1500mg max daily intake limit. You can meet this mark REALLY easy, pay attention to nutrition labels.
Only way to offset sodium naturally is to exercise sweat it out and drink plenty of water. If you sweat enough out excess sodium won't be an issue.
