I was gonna say, the NF doc is decent.
He's hailed as a hero by far too many people IMO, because he's clearly fricking insane and is a complete a-hole for what he did...and he put innocent people in danger. But there's no question the small-town dirty politics is definitely to blame as well.

He is hailed as a hero for doing what many people that feel marginalized have wanted to do and he did it without causing physical harm to anyone. Had he killed anyone, then he wouldn't be seen in the light many see him in.
