Getting 5k more than i paid for the truck 3 yrs ago

but you're also buying an inflated priced vehicle. you aren't getting a deal on the new truck for sure like other typical years have been.

you should have felt great about your equity in your truck and kept driving it. you burned through said equity driving new truck off lot.

1- you dont know what i am paying for new truck, i hadnt even mentioned that. But im getting a good deal with my buddies discounts
2- anytime you get a new truck, you understand you are getting something that is overpriced and depreciates with value
3-if i was worried about equity, i wouldnt be getting a new truck. I literally buy a new truck every 2-3 years. I like having new vehicles.
