You'll need MSI Afterburner to be able to dig into the settings you need, so you might as well get that and use its customizable overlay. You'll also want to have some kind of benchmarking software. Ideally 3DMark Port Royal, but 3DMark isn't currently on sale on Steam, so that kinda sucks. I haven't tried to use EZbench for testing, but it will probably work ok. Ideally you want a full feature raytracing benchmark to test stability on a 3080, but you can make do with others. And frankly, because you have the exact model I have, except newer (and therefore hopefully binned a little better), I'll likely be able to save you hours and hours of aggravation by getting you within 5% or so of where you'll ultimately end up with my first try.
