Cape San Blas/St. George Island

Looking at booking a house in either cape San blas or St. George island in late September or early October. For those who have been what are the pros and cons of each?
Cape San blas looks like what I’m looking for as far as seclusion, no crowds just house and beach. Seems like they have a great state park as well. Any tips would be awesome.
Thanks

The biggest difference is that St George has multiple restaurants and some convenience stores right at the foot of the bridge/ middle of the island. Depending on where you stay they are just 5-10 mins away. There's one convenience store and I think was a restaurant out on the Cape but I'm not sure these days? The cape has fewer properties overall but they are both going to be similar as far as the amount of people on the beach.
Both are going to be 30 minutes to a grocery store and "town" for other things. St Joseph bay is a clearer bay with legit snorkeling options (scalloping season is over). Appalachicola bay is murky brown oyster water not good for swimming. You could still visit St Joseph Bay while staying on St George though.
There's a state park in both, but I'd say most rarely go as the beaches there especially in the fall are quiet enough.
I personally really like Indian Pass and the first couple miles of the Cape. You are closer to both appalachicola and PSJ, still have the same quiet beaches, etc.

Any knowledge or info about WindMark Beach on St Joseph Bay just north of Port St Joe and 8 miles south of Mexico Beach? I got intrigued with the area and booked a condo there on Goodmorning Street for my husband and three 21-23 adult children last week in July. Very different from any other beach trip I’ve ever taken, and I’m anxious about it. There are VERY few online reviews. The 20-somethings are cool just to chill, but I know there are a few watering holes in Port St Joe town of they want to escape the old folks at night. Don’t mean to highjack the OP’s post- It was just a very timely question. Any suggestions are appreciated. Tia.

Paddy’s is the move. If you’re just looking for some oysters, beers, and live music it’s way better than dealing with getting in at the Blue Parrot or over in Apalachicola.
