Loser progressive Democrat mayor and loser POS incompetent police chief who both are unqualified and incapable of doing their jobs and probably any other job they would get.

Both should be run out of town.

But both will probably retain their positions.

Play politics all you want, but show me the Fortune 500 companies that are flocking to Baton Rouge or the elite public schools that you have in Texas or Georgia.

Play the Democrats vs Republicans card all you want but that’s just a surface complaint related to partisan delusion.

Look at the top 15 fastest growing areas in the US and you’ll more than likely find a mix of democratic and Republican areas.

Not everything is red vs blue like this board likes to think 24/7.

So all that needs to be done is to elect a republican and everything will be fixed? Kip Holden was probably the best mayor BR ever had.. What was his party?

The problem is.. No one worth a shite is running for these positions. And when the mayor election is on the same ballot as the president election there is a lot of people who go vote.. But then the runoff comes and the voter turnout is as low as it was, that will always favor the incumbent.

Does anyone know someone who you think would be able to manage the city who can play the game to get elected? Convince them to run. Going against the incumbent you start being behind.. So it needs to be someone who can be aggressive and show leadership off the bat.

Bitching isn't going to get things fixed.
