Interesting. I just changed out 48 bulbs in my house and used LEDs. We’ll see how it goes.
But about three years ago I changed about 80 of those candle looking incandescents. They are in 3 and 4 bulb outdoor sconce type fixtures. I calculated a payback of 14 months. These bulbs are on about 10 hours every single night. I haven’t replaced any of them, although I know there are about 5 or 6 that are burned out. The incandescents burned out A LOT.

Our house has a ridiculous amount of light bulbs. I think it's around 100. The led bulbs are brighter and make sense in some areas and I think they last about twice as long as regular ones but they don't really justify the additional cost imo.
