I am trying to understand why Tre' Morgan is not all SEC.

He was a wizard around the bag. He had the second highest batting average in conference play. Top 8 in Runs scored, top 3 in hits. Fizzell had more HR, but I doubt his defense was anywhere near what Morgan put up.
Is first base a "I don't care about defense if you hit HR position"?

Frizell was deserving of 1st team at 1B or DH/utility. Morgan has a good case for one of those 2 spots. Wes Clarke wasn't great in conference play but he was at the top of the country in HRs, and also didn't make 1st team in the SEC. The only way to fit them all would be to have a few more utility spots.

Morgan also has a good case for Freshman of the Year, but Bradfield also had a really, really good year...and in CF at the top of the order for a really, really good team. They should've done Co-Freshman of the Year. Crews wasn't far off in the convo for Freshman of the Year, either.
