I run an Autism center and at one time in my career was approached by a supervisor who wanted me to run one for him in a different city. Come to find out this meant buying supplies, making any sensory supplies that we needed myself, going on store runs for any snacks and food, scrounging up office supplies etc. Btw as you can imagine this meant working with kids 1000x more challenging than what teachers deal with 8-5:30 and no summer or any other break for that matter. I will always roll my eyes when these attention whores bitch about what they do.
