Don't get me wrong, I hope that this situation brings all of us the least amount harm and inconvenience as possible, regardless of political effect on Biden. And yes I tend to agree that comparing it to the energy crisis of the 70s is an overreaction. I suppose my point was that it does have the potential to be somewhere more in the middle of that spectrum.
