Is it possible to convert a centipede lawn over to bermuda? Would it do anything to over-seed with bermuda, or would that be a waste of time?

Possible? I'd venture to say inevitable unless you put heavy pressure on the bermuda.

If this is the route you want to go, find a herbicide that will kill centipede but not the bermuda (I'll defer to Ronk or Craw here), but a quick search says Revolver, Monument or Drive and cut as low as you can.

You’re correct. I didn’t know if it was a real question or not but low mowing, high fertilization, bringing the ph to 6.5-7, and anything with quinclorac would do the trick.
