I thought it was nationwide that fire and paramedics did not enter areas that were not safe without police protection.

I'm pretty sure that paramedics, just like cops, have zero legal obligation to help anyone.

My buddy WAS an EMT. They were instructed to not leave their ambulance until police were on the scene to control the area.

The one time his driver didn't listen he got punched in the head from a fake call of a heart attack.

They just wanted drugs from the ambulance. Thankful the cops rolled up right after he was struck and the perpetrators ran off leaving the vehicle.

The vehicle was stolen...
