With the talent LSU has at offensive line, WR, RB and their defense as a whole they do not need a Mark Sanchez or RP type quarterback to have a shot at the NC. All Hatch has to do is distribute the ball to his playmakers, not make stupid mistakes (and I'm guessing he won't since he went to harvard), and manage the game. If he does that then LSU will win allot of games, and with a little luck (which is needed for any NC season no matter who your QB is) anything is possible. Give the kid a chance before you write him off, he is laying it on the line every week for your team.

Sorry to jump you for this but I absolutely hate this kind of thinking. If book smarts had anything at all to do with football smarts then we would be plucking our QB's from the chemical engineering department.

And this is not a post against Hatch by the way. Just a post against that "logic".
