Playing last year, especially on defense, was not a good idea. That film hurt.

Playing could not help Chase. It may have just given teams the excuse to pick the AL players before him.

Marshall wanted to prove his durability. Guess who had post season surgery. Playing did not help and he might have fallen further if you didn't have a Brady out there who was intimately familiar with him.

Cox, that D.

What Shelvin needed to do was demonstrate that he could control his weight. Bet if he had played he wouldn't have been anywhere close to 350. He is the prototypical boom or bust and went where a guy like that should go. But if he showed up over overweight...

Stevens, that D

McMath, I doubt playing helped

Vincent, if they didn't like 2019 film, what do you think would have happened in 2020. I doubt he was the key to all the problems.

I believe this outcome is specific to Covid and that defense and not some universal principle for the future.

Marshall had a real chance to prove he was a 1st round talent.

Idk.

He played and opted out.

Also I didn’t read anything about him having post season surgery.
