It is amazing to me how different the Covid classroom standards are across the country. At my kid’s school in southern MS they started as normal in august and other than wearing masks in the classroom and a few recess and hallway protocols it was fairly normal. Hell they wouldn’t send a class home unless four kids in the same class tested positive. I fear the lockdowns will have long lasting effects and produce a whole generation way behind the curve academically.

Where I live isn’t terrible, but isn’t this good if you can call it good. Local pre-schools/daycares quarantine entire classes with one case and then any other class who was possibly in the same area at the same time.

Fortunately, again if you can call it that, my kids are still in daycare/preschool so things are much closer to normal with respect to desks with plexiglass and masks. Don’t know what I’ll do, but I won’t participate in this shite next year when mine enter actual school.
