Yeah, but he’s just keeping the seat warm for Fields.
Basically shows that if you’re fishing for a viable starting QB after the 3rd round, unless you get extremely lucky, you may as well draft another position of need and try again the next year.

True but you can find decent backups which is in no conflict with what you're saying.
