I swear some of you have the medical knowledge of a turnip. You can't confuse a Coronavirus for an Orthomyxovirus. The capsid is radically different, the spike proteins are radically different, and the nuclear material is entire the other way around and doesn't share much in its sequence.

Just to be clear though, why do you think Flu rates are 'down'?

Yeah Doc, in my college VIROLOGY class, I remember my professor talking about how a piece of cloth was REALLY good at stopping influenza but totally shite at stopping coronaviruses. Probably because those water droplets that carry influenza are way bigger than the ones carrying COVID, right?

Nobody is suggesting that there is "confusion" between the two types.
