Its ridiculous.

Its also why you always see "Guys climbing up draft boards"

They aren't climbing up. The amateur draftniks are catching wind of what teams actually think.

The way I view mocks are as a general guide as to where people should go. When my team makes a pick, I give them the benefit of the doubt IF they are generally good at drafting players. I defer to their track record. Our team has a pretty good (but not amazing or anything) track record. So I trust they made a calculated pick and take a wait and see approach from there. If our track record sucked I would be more skeptical.

Other fans like to be true fanatics and let their emotions dictate how they feel before having any clue how a player will do. And that's fine. It's part of the luxury of being a fan. But I just don't see the point in taking that approach personally.
