There are a lot of good men here that are Catholic, but... fellas, as long as the majority of the court is made up of Catholic and Jewish judges, this is what we're going to get when ruling on illegal aliens. Even conservative Catholics often feel bound by Catholic social teaching. The Catholic Church and Reform Judaism (comprising over 75% of American Jews) are both essentially open borders religions.
I'll guarantee you that every time a case is brought before SCOTUS on illegal alien children, the Amy Coney Barrett in particular is gonna fold like a wet napkin.
This country desperately needs some hard-assed Baptists and Calvinists on the Court to counter all the blood pouring from the hearts.

This might be one of the worst "hot takes" I've seen on this site. And that's saying something.
Assuming religion of a Justice of the Supreme Court somehow caused he/she to rule a certain and disregarding the law/jurisprudence of the U.S. is foolish.
Also, that a certain other denomination/religion would better serve to protect/counter is also ludicrous. Just because you don't like/follow a certain denomination/religion doesn't dispossess another being able to serve the U.S.
Old saying goes, "Correlation doesn't equal Causation."
