I have a Tundra Platinum 4x4 with 5.7L with 1” lift. I have never got below 15 mpg with towing a 15” boat. Daily driving, I get over 16 mpg. My old 4.6L Tundra got 17-19 mpg, so its not terrible on gas (granted dont complain about mpg if you going fullsize truck, period).
OP. Dont buy F-150, you probably see on news every week they have a new recall. Other ones, test drive and do research. 5.3L GM is a reliable motor IMO. And dont touch Titan

I call shenanigans. I have owned 3 Tundras (and a Tacoma), and the best I can realistically expect on a tank of gas (standard tank) is 300 miles, if you are lucky. Pulling a boat lowers that significantly. Maybe you got the special one.
That being said, my next truck will be a Tundra. I did the Chevy thing for a while, and I'd buy one if I need something bigger, but I just prefer everything about the Toyota. My dad has a couple brand new Chevy's on the farm, and they are very nice, but I just can't fathom all the gizmos and gadgets working in a few years.

Sorry bud, as a Tundra owner I have to call BS unless you have the lightest foot ever. Mine barely breaks 14-15 without towing.
