Well biden wants to redo everything.

He needs a crises to do it.

People are tired out of the whole blm riots.

People aren't worried enough about climate change to be able to do much.

So for him to remake America he needs to foment fear that the pandemic is still here and we need a massive overhaul to fix things because we are in crises mode.

No covid fear, no fear of anything and then people will start paying attention to what he is doing, which few people are.

So he needs fear so he has a crises, and he needs to keep people's eyes off of what he is really doing which has nothing to do with the pandemic.
