I'm not saying you are wrong for the individual, but you don't find something inherently unbecoming to see the best guys QUIT on their teammates simply because they have a better opportunity to play at the next level? I don't think I could join a team. Work and compete with my teammates and friends. Only to then say BEFORE the season "frick it! I'm too good for you guys. Handle it your self"

Sure there is a risk of injury, poor play that could lower a guy's draft stock. But that existed before 2020 and none of the top talent "opted out". Guys still got drafted and had successful NFL careers.

Maybe you couldn't - but talk is cheap when you aren't faced with real world scenarios involving a lifetime's worth of money.
