Hit a crispy 5 iron off the tee of a 195 yard par 3 last weekend, and the ball slid past the hole by about 3 inches and ended up about 8 feet behind.

Initially exciting but ultimately ho-hum result, except this was in a scramble and was on the hole where an ace won a boat that looked like it had to be worth about $100k. My hands were up and my stomach was in my throat for about 3 seconds. The lady monitoring the hole yelped.

I played 18 recently, and I believe it was the first ever round where I didn't 3 putt (or worse).

Have holed out 2 balls in the 120-130 range, both for eagle (one when I was about 12 years old), plus another 4-5 chip in eagles from green side.

Holed a bunker shot for birdie once, and for par I think another time. The birdie one was on the downhill back side of a greenside bunker and the ball landed right in the hole. Would have been 20 yards off the other side of the green otherwise.

No hole in one.

No double, but came about a foot shy of one.

I have four eagles.

I've holed out from 150 once (one of the eagles).

I, personally, have never fought on a course. That said, I was in a foursome with a guy I just met who proceeded to get shitfaced ay City Park YEARS ago and drive into a fivesome that refused to let us play through a couple holes prior. The guy sucked and was drunk, but he smoked one right down the middle and almost hit one dude, who then proceeded to start sprinting back to the tee box...and our guy then takes off down the fairway towards him. The rest of us look at each other and start running, but when we got down there none of us were interested in fighting as were non of the other guys in the other group. So, we let those two roll on the ground a bit and we pulled them off each other.

I almost killed myself last week at a course here that is pretty hilly. The cart had shitty tires, and I probably should not have gone that close to the edge of the cart path, but the tires slid (misty that morning) and caught the edge and almost rolled down a pretty good hill. Thankfully, it got centered, and I was able to bail...but me and my two buddies pulling that thing back on the path was a bitch.

I've driven 4's numerous times.

A putter of mine rests at the bottom of the lake on #16 green at Santa Maria. frick that stick.
