Nah. Too purple.

Not as purple as you think. The state houses are still red and the people, even a lot of the democrat ones, are Texans first. If it goes to a vote I think it will pass easily. Now, what will Washington do? Who knows.

Really sit down and think about how monumental that would be. Think about how much would have to change. Courts, currency, stock markets, new laws, new constitution. When it came time to vote it would fail by something approaching 75% no to 25% yes.

bro, im in houston, its purple, and a DEEP purple... we have more New York and California license plates than the eye can see.. you have 5 major cities that are as blue as the ocean... Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin and San Antonio are SOLID blue and only getting more blue because stupidity breeds stupidity.... not to mention the blue wave coming from the border... The democrats are putting everything they have into turning texas blue FOR A REASON... they get texas and its over... and my house will be put on the damn market.. you have too many people moving here and bringing their politics with them.... Austin is a shithole and many tech companies are moving there and to dallas and bringing their people from Cali with them... when i went hiking in Austin last summer, all of hill country had Biden signs... its probably my biggest concern, texas turning blue.. we've even had "family" discussions about selling everything and buying land in Wyoming.
