Helping someone overcome their mental illness is more loving than indulging them in it.
Also, not wanting girls to get beat up by men in contact sports or losing out on athletic scholarships is showing love to your neighbor.
Allowing children to permanently disfigure themselves for something that is usually just a phase is not showing love for your neighbor. It only shows weakness to not do what is in the best interest of the child.

How is it loving they neighbor if we let all our neighbors daughters
get dominated on the sports fields by large boys and then be forced
to shower with them afterwards?
