Watching the prosecuter in the Floyd trial do closing rebuttals from a medical perspective

..... He is as dishonest as a lawyer can be. The Judge allowing his twisting of medical facts on Fentanyl overdose, brain tumors, heart disease, annoxic seizures, arrhythmias and how knees on necks negate all of these medical emergencies should be grounds for a mistrial.
His arguments are completely unrelated to real science. I had so little faith in our judicial system before this.. Now I have none.
My medical diagnosis of this blatant, lie filled diatribe.... Terminal bullshite.

Lawyers completely distort the truth or flat out lie to win a case? No way!

Judges instructions to the jury should emphasize that nothing in the closing argument is evidence or a factual counter to evidence presented during the trial.
If the judge failed to disclose this to the jury, it could be a retrial.
Im fairly confident that the judge knows how to do his/her job.

Defense attorney just needs to say, "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, everything that man just said is bullshite."

I'd prefer the 'coughing into the hand bullshite' utterance, from Animal House.

Trials are the worse. It's supposed to be about facts and it's nothing but painting a story and destroying people's characters to get to that story. Expert witnesses are paid for or like Ben crump just use fake witnesses.

If what you say is true, then no mistrial would be necessary. The defense attorney can simply remind jurors to remember the following things the prosecutor just told you about. List them. Then tell the jury that according to medical professionals none of that is true. If the attorney could repeat false statements to the jury as part of their closing arguments , then how many more untrue statements were previously told to them during the trial.
Jury acquits. Everyone goes home happy that justice was served. What could possibly go wrong?
