I get the feeling that the Max Johnson fans want to run off TJ before he starts putting things together and vaults past Johnson.
TJ is clearly the most talented passer on the team and anyone pushing for him to transfer doesn't truly like LSU.

TJ has too far to go. He simply cannot throw with touch.

I like TJ, but I don't see him being the most talented passer at all. Biggest arm, sure, but there's more to it than that.
That said, I'm all for him staying at LSU and developing. You never know when you'll need him, or how much he'll improve.

Because a strong arm is just one aspect of being an effective QB.
Here are some factors I came up with, in no particular order. Please tell me which ones TJ is better, and why:
Arm strength
Accuracy
Touch
Timing
Quick release
Read defenses pre-snap
Read defenses during the play
Ability to check down
Look off receivers
Pocket presence
Avoid sacks/step up in pocket
Roll out to extend plays
Accuracy when throwing on the run
Scrambling / running ability
Leadership (perhaps most important)
