Defining a riot is now the thing. We've seen buildings and cars burned, police assaulted, people killed and been told it's mainly peaceful protests by the media. So yes, a riot now needs to be defined by law.

Because he's a politician seeking higher office, throwing out red meat to supporters to get them fired up.
Watch for Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to push an anti-riot bill next week, modeled on Florida's law. It's not too late.
