idk, a lot cheaper for evergreen to declare bankruptcy and form a new company i reckon

The ship carries 8,000 containers...and the ship it self is insured for $180mm

Evergreen is one of the largest and youngest shipping fleets in the industry. They arent going to file bankruptcy over this

They also arent going to pay $1b to be released....they will probably pay somewhere around $500mm though.

What about kids and drugs hidden on it? Not worried about Hillary’s crimes I’m sure. That part just went away.

Couldn’t they just sail the long way around Africa? I mean it’s not optimal, but it would have to be a helluva lot cheaper than a billion dollars. OTOH, I guess Evergreen has other ships and also would want to bring this same ship back through the channel.

They are trapped in the Lake that is North of the Suez Canal...they have no way out.
