This is what I like to do (not sure what you like to do)...

Dallas--Uptown. The Le Meridien hotel is in a great location. You can walk to Nick & Sam's. The happy hour at Uchi is amazing and it's like a block away.

Ft Worth--I prefer W 7th to Sundance Square and the Stockyards. The Stockyards is cool but I was over it in 2-3 hours.

yeah gonna need some more info for sure. You closer to 18 or 81? how long are you staying? you looking for outdoors, artsy stuff, food, party? Will you have a car or flying in and taking uber?

We stayed at the FW Omni a few months ago. The place was nearly deserted and there was no food service (except for a Starbucks). Things may have gotten better recently, but check it out before you make reservations.
