Not for me. It’s too ingrained in my behavior. It’s a formal way to greet someone- especially at the initial introduction. I won’t force anyone to do it, but I judge them for their reluctance. I immediately know they are inferior to me and are treated/considered so accordingly thereafter.

You know what’s a sign of respect? Being considerate of other people’s wishes about your need to have to touch them if they don’t want it.

I promise you. People with common sense find your sense of superiority hilarious. Don’t worry. You’re getting laughed at, but do you.

People obsessed with handshakes like you are generally odd people or boomers .
