So I guess we only blame Van Gundy when things go wrong but don't give him credit for good things.

If Gentry was here we would have never got point Zion.

Not even a month ago the majority wanted to trade NAW and Jax for nothing and was calling Kira a bust. Van Gundy and the staff has done a good job in developing these players in a short time.

This board doesn't understand that the quick turnaround probably affected the pels more than any other team. You bring in a new coach to a already young team adding 2 new starters with a 2 week training camp. Plus add that the guy you was counting on to be your scorer off the bench already checked out before the season started. Do you know how many more games we could have one early on if JJ wasn't so aweful.

The biggest thing that could help this team is getting some solid vets Blood Sport is a step in the right direction.

To be fair, when Gentry was here we barely had Zion period. And when we did he was thicc and out of shape. Up until the past 2 weeks, the team has never been healthier. It would of been interesting to see what the staff last year could of done with the current roster fully healthy. I am not a Gentry fan but man did he have some shite luck with injuries.

This isn't true, by the way. SVG said in one of his press conferences that the previous staff was getting ready to implement Point Zion when the pandemic happened. And SVG doesn't have any reason to carry water for Gentry, so I don't know why he would make that up and volunteer it if it weren't true.
