Sam was doing a good job of talking sense into her before Walker walked in.
Im glad they brought up his counseling past this episode since it is what he was doing when Steve met him. Good reminder he’s been doing his best helping people before they met.

It also shows that he learned at lot being around Steve. In Winter Soldier, right before the last battle he says to Steve,
quote:
Look, whoever he used to be, the guy he is now, I don't think he's the kind you save. He's the kind you stop.
