The doctors don't know when or if he will get any better, or what to do.
Is he sure they aren't calling something else "long covid?" Those symptoms seem pretty different.

The doctors do not know what it is. It just is how he has been since having a fairly mild case of the virus. He has the typical no wind and fatigue issues too.
