I'm with you 4LSU2... I went with the 80V Kobalt and will never go back to gas. Added the leave blower and totally happy with both. I whack about 400 feet of fence plus misc other stuff and can usually make 4 runs on a charged battery.

I've had an echo SRM-230 for 15 years. I have to admit I like the new high voltage brushless tools, but batteries are expensive. My echo has needed nothing but fuel lines and a spark plug in that time.
