Too many to list. However, the "Opportunity Zones" Trump and Dr. Carson laid out, was a good start at addressing those needs.

As Larry Elder points out, the income gap between black and white couples vanishes if the couple finishes high school, gets a job, gets married and then have kids in that order.

Yeah, the key is a good stable family -- the very thing LBJ destroyed to a vast number of cases.

Fathers to replace baby daddies.

Parents who give a shite about education.

Basically the things that exist in the black middle class, but are disavowed by mainstream black culture.

Honestly, it exists in poor white communities , but it is overwhelming in the black community. The reasons for poverty are pretty much universal.

Most important is for outsiders like you and me to stay the hell away and let them figure out how to improve their lives, neighborhoods and cities on their own.

Just like an addict, there is no helping them until they decide to change their behaviors and help themselves.

The glorification of gangster culture via rap music.

Take the television show The Fresh Prince of Belaire as a case in point. Will Smith’s character, who fled West Philly due to petty crime, is propped up and glamorized while Carlton, the responsible good student, is considered a sell out to white culture.

Less Will Smith’s, more Carlton’s and you would be surprised at the rates of success in life.
