They probably aren’t talking 10-15 lbs overweight. Probably talking more like 50+

Kinda, but I think there have been studies that showed even if you have a large amount of muscles mass, still being over certain weights for your height puts a lot of strain on your body

BMI Categories:
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

You probably mean overweight

I really hate this argument though.

Because some people might be like 1 bmi over weight and come running, oh this is a sham, it says I'm obese. Not really, just says you are overweight and by looking at you, you are.


Then we get into football players. These guys aren't normal humans. And just because someone has a shite ton of muscle weight, doesn't mean they aren't carrying more weight than their frame can handle. Even those guys break down at some point, some sooner than others.
