I'm a long standing tequila lover and I have a theory that people who don't like tequila have never had good tequila. It's fricking delicious.

I've actually been pretty drunk before and made an old fashioned using tequila, completely unintentional. It wasn't good. But what is good is a solid tequila reposado or anejo, with a little bit of agave and some salt dissolved in. Doesn't even need ice.

First rule of selecting tequilas: 100% agave.
