What strikes me about The Suicide Squad's poster is that is looks like a direct homage to The Dirty Dozen as well as dozen or so 70s post-Vietnam War gritty war films.

You need to do a deep dive on the repetitiveness of movie posters. There are only like 5 types of movie posters.
