Trump called China out, and endorsed Hong Kong. Democrats and media screamed that it was racist to dare to defend Hong Kong.

Trump told China to go frick itself, with his actions of acknowledging Taiwan.

Trump berated China for their tariffs.

Most of trump's foreign policy was centered around condemning China.
