Can't beat a gas mower unless you have a dime sized yard

I have a small yard and still wouldn't replace my Honda, Stihl, and Echo equipment for an Ego or similar. My neighbor has Kobalt equipment, our yards are nearly the same size though he has a large oak to bypass, I can finish mine faster even if he has a 20 minute head start. Think the biggest difference is how fast the self-propel goes, mine will have you range-walking to keep up.

I've got the Ryobi riding mower (non-zeroturn). I'm in my second summer with it and have had no problems. It cuts just as good as my previous gas powered mower. I do have to use a leaf sweeper in the fall, but I had to do that with the gas mower too.

I will not buy another gas mower for my 1-acre lot

My neighbor mows two acres with a battery zero turn. All the pro mower companies, Gravely etc, are making electric zero turns. Gas mowers are quickly becoming dinosaurs.
