I'm taking out a 3 ft wall section on that opposite side which contains light switches. When I relocate the switches, I can power the LEDs from a switch controlling that side.
Renovating from floor to ceiling and it's the best time to plan the electrical work. I thought replacing fluorescent ceiling fixtures with spot LEDs and under cabinet LEDs would be the way to go.

I hard wired the under cabinet lights in the link below. I bought one of the select-able brightness and determined I liked the 2700K setting and ordered the rest in the non select-able 2700k brightness to save a little money. The lights in the link are not dimmable.
