Who cares what he says JUST WIN! It solves every problem. He’s proven he can do it in dominant fashion and he will do it again.

Exactly.
All through last year, this board dumped on O because he was not taking responsibility for his actions. Now, he says his detractors were right, and we're supposed to dislike that as well.
A lot of players on the team remember the 2019 version of him that was focused on accountability. Admitting his mistakes up front tells them that the 2020 version of him being not focused on accountability is gone. That's going to pay dividends down the line.
Will it turn into a championship season? No way to know. Will it mean a much more focused "One Team: One Heartbeat"? Very likely.
