Payton is very good about playing to a player's strength. Look at the Teddy games.

This. Payton is a master at putting players in a position to succeed. Winston's INTs will get cut down to average. He won't be throwing 30 a year. Get him some speed WRs and he'll be taking the top off the defense that we haven't seen in years.

I don't think this can be stated enough. Payton coached his arse off and took Teddy B and Taysom to 8-1 the last 2 seasons because he was able to tailor games to their strengths. I also don't think people realize just how much Payton has had to adjust his true offense to what it has been the last few years with all the short throws and screens to compensate for Drew's declining arm strength and injuries. The main going against Jamies compared to Teddy B & Taysom is that we don't have as good of rosters, especially on defense, to help them as much. Biggest obstacle for Payton might be to get it through to Jamies to take it 1 play at a time. Know your route blocking scheme and route combinations on THIS play, anticipate the bltzes and coverage and be prepared for it. Take the dump off to the flats to Kamara or throw it away if necessary, but don't force throws, live to fight another possession
