I was in Florida this past weekend and was entering a WaWa without a mask, like always, and held the door for an older man that was approaching... wearing a mask and gloves... and he refused to enter with me holding the door.
I cannot fathom being paralyzed by fear to this level. You'd think people were dropping dead in their tracks with the way some people react to seeing an unmasked person.

I’d have to go search my post history to see when this event happened, but this reminds me of when this all first started and I took my kids into the neighborhood Walmart on Highland and Lee.
As we walking in there was an older lady and her man (from the looks of them, they didn’t appear to be the most mentally stable to begin with) who had just walked in. She was weaving and dodging folks and saying “six feet, six feet.” while masking up.
My 8 year old daughter and I just looked at each like WTF!
I just can’t understand that level of fear.
