What will it be for a 10am kick off, with a hurricane looming.

Old thread, but still no way in hell 79000 show up. 50000 would be good. Nobody from Monroe or Shreveport are getting up at 4 or 5 am just to drive in for the game, no tailgating. People from New Orleans probably won't show for the most part. Nobody wants to deal with the traffic mess after the game with all the evacuees.

We'll actually never know, and paid attendance will certainly be higher than 79k on season tickets and the die hards that are for sure going to be there.
Actual turnstile attendance - I'll say 83.5k. Paid attendance will be in the upper 80s, perhaps approaching 90k. Attendance last time (though it was a night game, no TV, and no hurricane) was 91,414, though I think that was paid attendance. Heck, Tiger Stadium looks empty in the low 80s.
Side note: last time, with no TV the game only took 2 hours and 40 minutes, about 15 minutes longer than a high school game.

Considering there are at least 6 pages on the ticket exchange with people trying to dump tickets, I'd say 65k would be great.
