Just got an email this morning from Smoky Mountain Guns & Ammo (Great place to purchase firearms online if you haven't heard of them). They have both models in stock right now - w/ or w/o thumb safety - for $599. So they're asking over MSRP but I'm sure that's because it's a new, hot item and also because of the gun-buying-frenzy climate we're currently in.

EDIT TO ADD: Although I love the way a Shield fits in my hands and shoots, if I were to be in the market for a 13+1 carry gun, I'd go with the Hellcat OSP and Springfield's new Hex Wasp Red Dot.

Brownells has the manual safety model in stock, $499 shipped with code MZB.

NMS with night sights same price, but only for pre-order. Damnit, I’m about to drop another $500...
