Will everyone be screaming that we have a horrible QB in either Hatch or Lee?

We were leading 14-0 against App. St. in the 4th qtr. in 2005 and we had Jamarcus Russell as our QB.

Just trying to give a little perspective.

I'll likely be screaming something incoherently.

That depends on how we get the 14 points. Hatch could be dead on and the recievers have the Lafell syndrome. Or running backs could have fumble-itis.

Different team.

these are the same stupid fans that hated the best QB we ever had. they will hate whoever is in there as long as another one is on the bench.

So now you're manifesting drama in your head of what the annoying LSU fans will say? Nice way to get pumped for game one of the season.

You're right to pint this out.

But the analogy doesn't hold because that was Jimbo.

This team should expect more than 14 by the 4th quarter.

No more heat of the day bullshite, or crazy roucous crowd. No more huge advantages for LSU other than the talent. Should be a good game and it will be probably a 28-17 ball game. LSU also had a runningback by the name of Joseph Addai, don't know if anyones ever heard of him. App's defense is much improved and offense is more explosive. I'm sure there are somethings better about LSU now and worse. You have a Harvard JV quarterback starting instead of JR, and you don't have a runningback the caliber of JA. Should be interesting, every aspect of Appalachian football has gotten better since 2005.

Just saying.

should hatch be given a short leash like nall was given when he yanked at half-time after leading LSU to a 17-7 halftime lead in the opener in 1999.
