Babylon Bee
Things have changed quite a bit in the world of Dr. Seuss, as six of his works have been pulled from publication, banned from sale on eBay, and eliminated from people’s minds using lobotomies to help fight the threat of racism. To get with the times, though, a new Dr. Seuss book has been released, called The Cat in the Hat (He/Him).
“In this new book, using reworked art from Dr. Seuss,” said a letter from Dr. Seuss’s estate, “the Cat in the Hat once again finds the two children home alone and bored. This time he diagnoses their malaise as gender dysphoria and proceeds to give the children puberty blockers.”
An excerpt from the book reads:
"I have some new drugs,"
said the cat in the hat.
"A lot of good drugs!
I'll inject them in you.
Your mother will not mind at all if I do."
The children learn a lesson in intolerance, too, as their goldfish ignorantly tries to stop them from taking the drugs, warning them of permanent side effects. The goldfish is then killed and flushed down a toilet.

Many will be triggered, because they feel like this article is making fun of their ideology.

I really enjoy this new game of reading a thread on the OT and guessing if it is real or the Babylon Bee. My batting average is not as high as it should be trying to choose between real life and a company making headlines as ridiculous as they can come up with

So much for Fuhrer Seuss building the perfect race

Not your fault. The ruling/entertainment class in this country is just being absolutely ridiculous.
It's like the insanity of the outfits and hair styles that people wore in the Capitol City in Hunger Games. They just get more and more ridiculous while the rest of us remain normal.

Sometimes I think the poliboard is too much like the Bee.

Impossible. The Bee predicts the future. The Poli-board just reacts to the past.

If you couldn't tell this was Bee before you opened the thread something is wrong with you

Also the Bee is just having fun and making laughs, whereas the poli board is just miserable

If you’re feeling confused,
Then we’ll slice up your cock,
Bisect it, turn it inside out,
Like a sock,
Now it won’t ever heal,
It will fester and stink,
No it won’t fix your issue,
That’s neat! Don’t you think?
now your balls will still hang,
And you won’t have a clam,
But you’ll get real upset,
When folks don’t call ma’am,
You’ll still have a big chin,
And a 5 o’clock shadow,
You’ll be more of a dude,
Than that chick Rachel Maddow.

I don’t know how knowledgeable you actually are about sex reassignment but your poem is the sad reality for many transsexuals. That’s why so few of them actually undergo the surgery.

They identify as another gender entirely. Their default state is probably sad.

I agree. It’s a gruesome birth defect.

The whole Dr. Seuss freakout is stupid, as is this poor attempt at humor.
Why the hell do a bunch of middle-aged men give a single frick about the Seuss foundation stopping print on some of his past works? Surely, we all have more important things to worry about in our lives. If you're up in arms about something so incredibly unimpactful on your lives, perhaps it's time to turn off social media and TV and spend some time reevaluating your priorities.

Because it’s Always “just one little drop, then we promise, we’ll stop”
And before you know it, it’s all gone.
Remember how it was just gonna be confederate statues?
Yeah, how did that work out?
